An Introduction: The Birth of WiseCrunch

26 July 2008 439 views No Comment

After days of planning and design, WiseCrunch is now finally online. Actually, this blog should have been online a little earlier if not only because of the problem I had with the hosting company I initially intend to host with. Their payment system I think is having some difficulty right now so I’ve decided to host this blog temporarily from a free hosting provider until the problem with the previous hosting company is resolved.

This blog will tackle mainly on the latest issues from the blogging world, newest gadgets and technologies, health tips, reviews, online money making, etc. A sister of my personal website Paulo Martirez.Com, WiseCrunch aims to provide readers with lots of very interesting information that are unique and up to date.

The Cost Anatomy

To give you an idea of how much I’ve spent to put up this blog the cheapest way possible, here are the breakdown of the costs:

Domain Name Registration = $ 7.15
Web Hosting Provider = $ 0.50/month or $ 6.00 per year
Wordpress Template = FREE Revolution Template from Brian Gardner

Running Total Cost To Date = $ 13.00

As you can see, you only need as low as $ 13.00 to put up your dream website. With a little fund from your Paypal account and a little patience to find the other free stuffs you need and… whoala! You will have a website up and running…

Actually, you can still lower the price down by hosting your website with a FREE web hosting provider. Try to find the one that do not put annoying ads into your site. To name a few, here is the list I’ve proven reliable even if their service is free:

1. 000webhost.com

2. 0fees.net

3. AwardSpace.com

I have another website hosted with them and so far, no problem is occurring so I assure you this cheap hosting service is the most reliable on the web today.
