How I Got A $90 Worth Of eCheck

8 August 2008 396 views One Comment

I just received this notification from PayPal last night. A fresh $90 worth of eCheck. Still “Uncleared” but its fine. All that I have to wait now is only 7-9 days for the fund to appear on my account.
$90 eCheck
This amount was the result of a deal I made with an advertiser lately. He first contacted me few days ago saying that I was referred to him by a friend. (Whoever he/she is who have referred me to this advertiser…. thank you so much!)

He then asked me for the link to my websites. I sent him all of my URLs and replied back that he wanted to advertise on two of them for one year. That of course put a smile on my face… :). I immediately sent my advertising rates for those websites with the hope that he would still continue the transaction.

To give you a peek of the rates I gave him, here they are:

Top Banner (468×60)
- $4.50 - $5.50 per month
- $54.00 - $66.00 annually

Sidebar Box (125×125)
- $3.20 - $4.50 per month
- $38.40 - $54.00 annually

(Note: The lowest amounts represent the less performing website of the two.)

If these rates are to be followed, I could earn $100 or more for the two websites. But then, he asked me if we could come up with an agreement. He then offered me the amount of $90 for the two websites. The amount is not bad so I told him that his proposal is acceptable.

After that, what follows next is the completion of the deal that brings this $90 worth of eCheck to my account…
