If you think you can only make money online if you have a website, well think again. Not all online success comes with the creation of a website… In fact, millions all over the world create a reliable primary or secondary source of income from the internet via eBay.

What is eBay?

Established in 1995, eBay is a global marketplace where anyone from any place in the world can buy or sell products through online auctions or fixed-price sales.

How Can I Earn Using eBay?

Like I said earlier, eBay is a marketplace where people buy and sell products. To take the full advantage of eBay, you need to have something that you can sell on eBay. Virtually, you can sell almost everything on this website. With over 200,000,000 registered users of eBay, there is a little chance that whatever you are trying to sell on this website will not get a prospective customer.

To give you some tips on the kind of products that you can sell on eBay, here they are:

1. Collectibles and Vintage Items - This is very much profitable in fact these kind of items are selling faster and with a bigger amount of dollar involve. Collectible items may include old books, records, clothes, memorabilias, stamps, coins, toys, comics, and many other hard-to-find items. Vintage items like jewelries, watches, old electronic products, religious items, old tools, and many more can also bring you much profit.

2. Products That You Create - For someone who has a hobby to create things like arts and crafts, eBay is also the best place to sell such items. From paintings, digital arts, sculptures, etc. to the well handcrafted materials like baskets, cards, embroidery, metalworks, woodworks, and many more…

Some students also loves to create their fashion accessories and jewelries. These accessories are also a hit on eBay especially if the product is very distinct and unique.

3. Items You Don’t Need Anymore - As we go on with our lives, there are things that sometimes left behind or forgotten. More of like doing a garage sale, eBay can become your garage. Instead of throwing them out, sell those unwanted items from your house and make profit out of them.

To name a few, you can sell your used clothings, unused books, toys, gears, and other things that you consider junk anymore.

The most common way to be paid on eBay is through PayPal. You can also accept payment via credit cards, bank transfers, postal orders, or even cash.

Just always remember, you must have items to sell in order to make money through eBay.

No items? No eBay income!

Ebay is now a very hard market to get into and make money. Ebay has driven prices, of just about everything on the planet, down. Many traditional traders like antique dealers are complaining loudly. The big challenge is getting products at a price you can make a profit at. Problem is you can buy stuff on Ebay cheaper than most of the (so called) wholesalers. Direct import from China is one way but many ’skip’ customs and import costs to stay profitable- NOT a great plan! If you can make something unique, with little or no competition, you can ask a premium price so this is one good way to start.
