Ebay is now a very hard market to get into and make money. Ebay has driven prices, of just about everything on the planet, down. Many traditional traders like antique dealers are complaining loudly. The big challenge is getting products at a price you can make a profit at. Problem is you can buy stuff on Ebay cheaper than most of the (so called) wholesalers. Direct import from China is one way but many 'skip' customs and import costs to stay profitable- NOT a great plan! If you can make something unique, with little or no competition, you can ask a premium price so this is one good way to start.
