A Heads-Up For Freebies4Webmasters Publishers

28 October 2008 268 views No Comment

Sometime around September I wrote a post about the sign-up payment I received from Freebies4Webmasters. It was a nice £10 payment and I felt very happy for that even though I did not received the £5 bonus for adding the code to my site within 72hrs after approval. Since then I was expecting so much that I will be receiving my first monthly payment the following month of October.

During the I think first week of October, I received an email from Freebies4Webmasters team saying that they will be removing some publishers to their system due to some issues with their advertisers. This got me worried and immediately checked if WiseCrunch is one of those removed but it was not. Everything I thought will go just fine until I attempted to login again today and found out my account is missing. It was maybe a missing password so I requested for a new password but still I could not login. That’s funny co’z their system can still recognise my login name otherwise I will not be able to receive the new password, right?

What is happening to Freebies4Webmasters? Are they now can be considered a scam?

If they did removed me as one of their publisher, they should have notified me first so that I can remove their banners at WiseCrunch immediately. Imagine I am displaying their banner, not just one but three banners and will never get paid for it…

It is understandable that they maybe on a hard time right now (many companies now does) but at least they should have been kind to their publishers and have tried to be more honest. They should let webmasters know that they will never get paid and encourage them to remove the banner and replace it with more profitable one.

So if you are an existing member and having the same problem… Burn your fingers now and let the world know of it so that other publishers will be warned!
