15 Minutes Walk Could Stop Craving For Sugary Foods
Having a hard time getting rid of your craving for sweet chocolates, mouth watering candies, and lots a lots a sugary foods? If you think you are hopeless think again. There is another way to fight your life threatening addiction… a 15 minutes walking!
Researchers at the University of Exeter published an article recently showing that exercise (lets take for example walking) may reduce food cravings.
They found out that a 15 minutes walk is enough to reduce the urge to eat chocolate. This means that people who are struggling to manage their sugar intake will just need to walk for 15 minutes to help battle their craving.
The research was initiated with 25 regular chocolate eaters who were asked to either complate a 15-minute walk or rest, in a random order. Then they were instructed to finish a task that normally induce their crave for chocolate including a mental challenge and opening of chocolate bar.
Participants claim that they have managed to lower their craving for chocolate after the exercise.
How?
Neuroscientists suggested that exercise affects brain chemicals that help to regulate moods and cravings.
