But still there are some who needs more…

The answer? White-space broadband connection.

White-space broadband connection is the new era of broadband connectivity. Technically speaking, white space is the 700-MHz spectrum that’s coming from TV channels. With its wide coverage, it has the potential to be used for many important uses. Since this spectrum have much longer range than today’s Wi-Fi technology, it will give the opportunity for others outside the Wi-Fi coverage to get internet connection.

In the future, the internet will be needing more bandwidth to supply the ever evolving users worldwide. Have you heard of IPTV or Internet Protocol Television? That is the future and that is where white-space spectrum comes in.

White-space spectrum can provide cheaper connectivity because it requires only fewer antennas and ground-stations. It’s 700 MHz signal have wider range and greater penetration.

The question of how fast it can get remains a question. But some say it could get as fast as 40Mbps.
