JobThread - Get Paid Posting Jobs On Your Site
A week ago, I stumbled upon JobThread. It’s an online recruitment platform that allows blogs and niche sites to post their own job board in the form of a widget. The best part… owners of these blogs and websites can earn money.
I got very curious about the money making potential of JobThread to one of my sites so I signed-up for an account immediately. Sadly, after a week of waiting I only get to earn $0.13. Haayy… That’s way far from the $20 minimum payout before I can make a payout request.
Anyway, I’ll still wait for a couple of months. If by then it seems unworthy of the space, I have no choice but to junk the widget and replace it with more profitable one.
Membership is free and you can customize the widget to blend with your site. You also have the option to choose the kinds of jobs you want to be posted on your blog or website. Especially useful if your site is on a specific niche and you know who your readers are and what they want.
Earnings are calculated based on a number of factors including the quantity and quality of traffic your widget generates. You earn everytime someone click on any job found on your widget. I’m not sure how the calculation goes. Hopefully they would find the time to give publishers a little know how on how it is done.
Started on 2005, JobThread seems to be an honest site. I’m amazed to see that some of their publishers are SourceForge, mocoNews, WallStreet Reporter, and many more.
