Ways To Convert AlertPay To PayPal And Vice-Versa

28 February 2009 7,519 views 16 Comments

Currently, if there is one competitor that PayPal have, its AlertPay. And since PayPal do not support converting or transferring money directly from AlertPay, it poses a problem for those who wants to do so.

Personally, I do want to convert my AlertPay earnings to PayPal. This is because I can easily withdraw my PayPal earnings via my EON visa electron card from Unionbank or via my other ATM account.

I made a research and here are some ways I found to convert your AlertPay to PayPal:

1. Use Third-Party Currency Exchange Sites

There are a few websites out there who offers this kind of service but be aware that many of them are scammers so make a research before entrusting your money with them. For the most legitimate ones, here’s my list.

a. Move-Funds - Has a service fee of 7.90% plus 20 cents for the amounts below $30. Payments are cleared on next business days up to 5 days. Maximum allowed move amount is $999.99.

b. Wire Transfer Bank - Has a service fee of 7.90% for the amounts below $30. Payments are cleared on next business days up to 5 days and the maximum allowed move amount is $1,000.00.

2. AlertPay > Bank > PayPal

This is one of the easiest way and I think also the safest. Its because there is no third-party involve but only you to make the transfer. Here’s what you will do:

a. Add your bank account to your AlertPay.
b. Withdraw your money from AlertPay to your bank account.
c. Add funds from your bank account to PayPal.

Very simple isn’t it?

3. Person To Person Exchange

If you don’t have a bank account, you can ask someone or better your friends to buy your AlertPay earnings using PayPal. This step is I think not safe at all unless the person you are dealing with is reliable and someone you can trust.

4. Invest in PTC sites

I don’t know if you guys will work on this but since some PTC sites like NeoBux and Bux.gs use PayPal and AlertPay as their payment processors, you can invest your money with them and withdraw your earnings in your preferred payment option which in this case is PayPal.

Generally speaking, converting AlertPay to PayPal or vise versa is a risky thing to do. You might get your PayPal account marked as “Limited” or worst loosing your account. PayPal prohibits such act so better be careful.

You still can do it but remember not to use “curreny exchange”, “alertpay to paypal transfer”, or any similar words or phrase that PayPal might use against you.

I have account in paypal, yet I couldn’t used it.. because I don’t have creditcard.. is there any other way that my MASTERCARD, PAYONEER could be my substitute.. instead of Creditcard?

I think you can still use your paypal account even without a credit card. The credit card is used only for verification of account.

You can use your friend’s credit card if you want to verify your paypal account. Ibabalik din naman sayo ung pera eh once the verification is complete.

Great options, but the thing is Alertpay doesn’t support bank transfer in the Phils, so it’s either bank wire lang ($15) or by mail ($4), which both are expensive. Another loophole is if you have an Alertpay, normally same email ang gamit mo as with Paypal, hindi ba magulo un just in case you send your money into your Paypal account? Ano ba yung recommended options mo? My funds is coming from Alertpay going to Paypal (which supports the Philippines), what is the easiest way to move the funds po given na pareho ung email ko with them?

    Please help! Thanks so much!

    Thanks for visit rodney!

With regards to your question… I don’t see any problem if you use the same email address with Alertpay and Paypal kasi I myself is using the same email address for both.

You can’t really transfer Alertpay money directly to Paypal so what you need to do is find someone or a website that is willing to buy your Alertpay money in exchange of Paypal money.

pleasy boy. I want alertpay now. do you have? I have paypal and we can change.
    thanks!

For the safest possible transfer only ever move to and from your own bank account. This is also the cheapest option as you should not incur any (or very little) charges. I would strongly suggest you do not use a friends bank account. Nothing quicker to loss a friendship than arguments over money (well maybe girls!). Especially if you are talking a substantial amount of cash

I’m into bux.to ptc that requires alertpay for payment, I’m wondering if I could use the same credit card I use in paypal. Can I withdrew directly my money from alertpay to my eon card provided I’m living in the philippines.

    Thanks!

    Hi Iance
Aware that bux.to is scam so dont invest even $1 there, I lost too much money with it, I have $800 in my bux.to account $ $500 request from 11 month ago but no no no

  • Ram Gunjal said:

Putting your money into bux.to or something like that could be a big loss.

I’ll suggest those having US bank account:
    1. Withdraw your money to bank account
    2. Then deposit into another site

    Pros: You loose no money
Cons: You need US bank account approved by both, the process can take 6-8 days in total even if you act fast.
