Monetizing My Blog With CMF Ads

17 April 2009 619 views 4 Comments

A few days ago, I’ve decided to join CMF Ads with the hope that it can add up more income for this blog. If you can see, I’ve stopped using Project Wonderful already. I will use CMF Ads to populate the space on this blog which was previously intended for Project Wonderful.

What Is CMF Ads?

For those who haven’t heard about CMF Ads yet. It is another advertising network which works much more like Adgitize, Entrecard, and Project Wonderful. I’ve included Entrecard on the list since sooner, publishers can also make money out of it buy allowing them to convert Entrecard credits to cash.

Like Entrecard, CMF Ads works with credits. Advertisers buy using credits and publishers earns these credits. Now for publishers, these credits can be converted to cash or can be re-used for advertising.

As publisher, you earn 100% of the credits paid by the advertiser once the ad running on your blog finished its 30 days period.

A single credit is worth $0.25.

For this blog, I’ve placed an ad price of only 3 credits/month so that’s equivalent to $0.75/month for a single 125 x 125 ad. My widget can display 3 ads so if all gets an ad, I get an income of $2.25/month. Not bad ei…?!

Why low?

Well, that is to allow advertisers test out first the effectiveness of the site. If hopefully in the future I see an increase in the number of ads being placed on this blog, then I think that’s the right time that I should increase the ad rate.

How Much Can Publishers Earn?

In CMF Ads, publishers can sell back their earned credits for a minimum buy back of $10 per 80 credits. Doing some mathematical computation (Whew!), that’s $0.125 worth per credit. Sounds fair enough?

Hi! I tried to place an ad in your CMF ad space, but I could not. I also could not find your blog in the list of Find Ads in my CMF control panel.

Hi, I also have joined CMF but haven’t installed it in my blogs yet. they look cluttered already. Actually I removed adgitize in my personal blog and left the EC.

this sounds good if you can earn $2 in a month without doing as much. might reconsider. thanks for sharing!
